Where should I go next? Upgraded to Economy, May 29, 2024May 29, 2024 Within North America, I have several ideas for upcoming trips. I’m not exactly sure where I should go, but here are my ideas thus far: Alaska Living in Seattle has its benefits for visiting Alaska. For one, I am right at the port of call for cruise ships that go to Alaska. If I don’t have time for a cruise (which I indeed most likely won’t have time for), then I’ll go for a nonstop flight to most major destinations in Alaska by flying on Alaska Airlines. This summer, I’m very interested in exploring a state I’ve never been to and to get out into the nature. The weather will be mild and pleasant. While I don’t wish to be caught up in the height of tourist season, I do want to enjoy Alaska when it isn’t freezing cold outside. Orlando While I find Orlando to be a boring city overall, I am very much drawn to Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center. The former is the most magical place on Earth and the latter is more interesting than any other NASA facility I’ve visited. Admittedly, beyond that, there’s probably just Gator Golf. (I have no interest in visiting Universal Studios.) But it’s still a nice weekend trip destination, or better yet, if I have time, I’ll visit Disney World during the weekday to hopefully beat the crowds. Belize Alaska Airlines has a nonstop flight to Belize from Seattle. It’s an English-speaking country in Central America that tends to be safer than neighboring countries. It’s not at the top of my list only because I’m not really the type to engage in snorkeling or the activities available in nature in beautiful Central America. Montréal and Québec City I’ve been to Montréal twice and always find it to be an enjoyable city that’s unlike any other in Canada. It’s because it’s so different from the rest of Canada that I like it. Like most of Québec, it’s uniquely French Canadian, and that means the culture of the city is unmistakably unlike the rest of Anglophone Canada. On the other hand, I’ve never been to Québec City. My French isn’t the best, which brings me pause, but I’m very interested in visiting it. New York City Over the past two years, I’ve been to New York twice every year. It’s a perennial destination that never ceases to bore me. There’s just so much to do and I’m always dying to return to the restaurants I’ve enjoyed there in the past.
